My Approach

Why Ethical Autism Consultancy Exists:

Ethical Autism Consultancy exists because too much support for autistic adults is still shaped by non-empathetic, non-co-produced, and deficit-based approaches, rather than respect, inclusion, and understanding.

As an autistic practitioner with a Master’s degree (Distinction) in autism, I created this consultancy to bridge lived experience, research, and real-world practice.

My work supports families and organisations to move beyond “person-centred on paper” and towards genuinely neurodiversity-affirming approaches that centre autonomy, choice, empathy, and dignity, even in complex or pressured environments

My work focuses on thoughtful, reflective practice that responds to real people in real contexts.

This work is for:

  • Families supporting autistic adults
  • People who provide direct support to autistic adults
  • Organisations, workplaces, and services that support, employ, or regularly interact with autistic people
  • Teams who want to develop more person-centred, neurodiversity-affirming, and ethical ways of working

This work is particularly suited to people & organisations who:

  • value autonomy, inclusion, and dignity
  • are open to reflection and change
  • want practical guidance that works in real-world settings
  • are looking to move beyond tick-box or compliance-led approaches

This work is not for:

This work may not be a good fit if you are looking for:

  • mandatory training delivered without reflection or adaptation
  • behaviour-modification programmes or compliance-based training
  • one-size-fits-all solutions.
  • Neurodiversity Lite approaches.
  • approaches focused on control, normalisation, or masking
